Third annual meeting of the SCI-Research Group

This year the meeting has been hold in Verona, at the Human Sciences Department of the University of Verona.

The meeting started with an introduction by Valentina Moro, concerning the concluded and starting projects of the platform.

Later Michele Scandola showed the results of an experiment on the embodiment of the wheelchair and how it modulates the perception of the external space.

Silvio Ionta introduced the “Techno-cognitive strategies against maladaptive neuroplasticity in spinal cord injuries”.

Finally Michele Barsotti and Camilla Tanca showed the development of a VR framework to study pleasent touch in spinal cord injuries.

The audience, who participated to the debate, included researchers, professional of spinal cord units, students and onlookers.
