“Bayesian Statistical Analyses for the Human, Social and Cognitive Sciences”
The guest for the second day of Summer School was: Rosalyn Moran.
The lecture covered a lot of different topic such as:
– The bayesian updating in the brain, an analytical approaches in behavioural designs; an implementation example from ‘Dynamics of attentional selection under conflict: toward a rational Bayesian account.’ by Yu, Dayan & Cohens
– An introduction to Variational Bayes for Complex Models & Gradient Descent; Model fitting in Nonlinear Settings
– The Predictive Codes in the Brain & Emergence from Variational Bayes.
A poster session of each student’s submission followed as well as a social event, an opportunity to talk and knowing each others in front of some delicious dishes.
